We are a welcoming couple from Canada excited to host people from different countries as well as travel the world to learn about other cultures. We are expert cooks (check our cooking gallery) who would love to occasionally cook for our guests as well as our hosts. We've been to more than 50+ countries so far, and we are looking forward for the other 200+, as well as hosting people from those regions, especially Europe, East Asia, South America, Africa, and all other wonderful countries!
We just finished traveling through the Eastern half of both Canada and the US (5 out of the 10 Canadian Provinces, and 25 of the 50 US States). We used a car and drove 30,000KM+ in just under 6 months, and now we are exploring East Asia starting from Malaysia as a base, then spreading around to surrounding countries.

- ASTRONOMY: Observing the sky with a telescope since the age of 7. Knowing each and every planet like our own friend :)
- STAMP COLLECTION: With more than 10,000+ stamps, and 100+ countries represented. It's a history lesson summarized in an inch by inch :)
- MENU COLLECTION: Collecting restaurant menus from every country and city we visit. Total about 1800+ and counting! 40% away from breaking the Guinness world record :)
- VIDEOGAMES: Wii, xbox360, and PS3, we play everything, but our favourite are RPG's and Survival Horrors. (We don't play as much. It's more outdoors now :)
- SPORTS: Basketball, soccer (football), swimming, bowling, golf, and trying each sport at least once.
삶의 철학Often people work hard between the ages of 20-65 to save money and enjoy their retirement time, even though the person may not have the optimal health at that age.
Our philosophy was to work hard from 20-30 in order to save for our worldwide journey, then retire from 30-35 in order to travel through the whole world (which is what we are doing right now :), then work again from 35-50, then retire for good and focus on the best places that we've seen from our mid-thirties journey. After all, who needs all that money? Time is more valuable than money, and Travel is priceless! :)
We also travel to learn, and we teach what we learn. Life is the best university, and traveling is the best teacher! :)
음악, 영화, 책Favourite Books: Vagabond, Awaken the Giant within, the 4 hour work week, 50 success classics, the Millionaire Fastlane, and many classics such as Treasure Island, Nobody's Boy, Robinson Crusoe, Edgar Allen Poe's the raven, 1001 nights, etc
Movies: We LOVE all types of movies (suspense, thrillers, and comedy mainly) and documentaries (Science, travel, and nature documentaries). Our favourite series is Rick Steves' Europe through the back door, Rudy Maxa, and Samantha Brown. We also love Japanese Anime.
내가 좋아하는 사람유형Just like we love the uniqueness of each country, city, cuisine, and language, we also love the uniqueness of each and every individual. People who love to take their time to understand people from other cultures as well as share their own with enthusiasm.
